How many photos do we get?
Depends on the amount of coverage you book but you will receive approximately 100 photos per hour of coverage you have booked. So for a 10 hour wedding, you'll receive approximately 1,000 photos!
When do we get our wedding photos?
My goal is to deliver online galleries which include the digital download of your wedding images approximately eight weeks after the wedding date. Depending on the time of year, I will sometime be able to deliver them quicker, but of course I never want to rush them. I edit every single image myself, correcting all images for color, clarity, sharpness, tone and then adding my own artistic style.
Can we print the photos wherever we like?
Definitely. While I recommend Newfoundland Canvas which is a locally owned and operated business by a former Wedding and Portrait Photographer, you are not tied to any one vendor. I do HIGHLY recommend using a print lab which is experienced in printing professional photography and have their printers color calibrated to the current industry standards. I do not recommend Costco, Wal-Mart or Dominion. While I understand these vendors are cheaper than most, I promise you the quality is far inferior to a professional lab. You wouldn't buy a sports car and but a pair of worn out Wal-Mart tires on it, printing your wedding photography which you've invested your hard earned money into is no different :).
How do we pay?
I accept cash, cheques, email and bank transfers, as well as all major credit cards.
What camera gear do you use? Do you bring backups?
-
I only use professional cameras & lenses. I bring backup gear to all weddings.
For you camera geek’s out there my current kit is:
- Canon 5D Mark IV
- Canon 5D Mark III
- Canon 70-200 mm f/2.8 IS ii
- Canon 135 mm f/2.0
- Canon 85 mm f/1.2
- Canon 50 mm f/1.2
- Sigma Art 35 mm f/1.4
- Various bits of lighting equipment including speedlights, triggers, modifiers, etc.
Do you work alone?
Yes – this suits my style best & allows me to fade into the background with your guests. However, I do have a network of professional photographers that I can hire if the client feels as though they would like additional photographs and coverage. My personal opinion is that it isn't necessary, but I'm happy to bring on another photographer if that client wishes.
Any other questions, or if you’d like more information – just ask! :)
