Glendenning Wedding - Heather + James // St. John's Wedding Photography

I met Heather and James through Heather's sister - Catherine - whose wedding I photographed last year. Always a treat to catch up with past clients here in Newfoundland. Heather and James are a laid back couple who enjoy the outdoors and having a good time. Their July wedding was a gorgeous day here in St. John's and I don't think I've ever laughed so much shooting a wedding. What a fun wedding party!

I asked them a few questions about their wedding day so my blog visitors could get an idea from the couple's point of view of how they chose their vendors. They also offered a tip to future bride and grooms planning their Newfoundland wedding.

The Bride & Groom: We hit it off downtown at the Attic on George Street in July many years ago(that tells you how long we have been together). We love going on adventures together - we have skydived over Las Vegas, learned to surf in Hawaii, kayaked the Atlantic ocean, snorkeled with stingrays in Mexico, skied Whistler (albeit I did not do that well) and hiked Gros Morne mountain and various east coast trails. We are looking forward to a lifetime of more adventures as a married couple.

How long did it take you to plan your wedding? We got engaged Christmas Eve 2015.

Advice to couples currently planning their wedding: We find the key to a great wedding is good food, table wine and a fool-proof music playlist.
