Melanie + Ryan's wedding was my last of the 2017 season and I was pumped to work with them. Having shot our couples photo session late last spring I knew these guys were going to rock their wedding photos!  Read more about their wedding vendors and the day from the Bride + Groom themselves below!

From the Bride - “Because we got married later in the year (October 28, 2017), we basically had first pick of our vendors. It took probably less than a year to plan everything.”

ABOUT THE Bride and Groom:

Myself and Ryan have know each other, and had been good friends, since the 7th grade. Through perseverance, determination, and several attempts over the years (on Ryan's part, but who's keeping track), we finally officially started dating in 2011 and have been together ever since.

Because we got married later in the year, we basically had first pick of our vendors. It took probably less than a year to plan everything.

Wedding Dress

The Ivory Suite - My dress was from The Ivory Suite. As soon as I saw it online I knew that was the dress - and the girls there made me feel so great.

Suits

All the men's suits were from The Model Shop

Decor & Day of Coordination

Spotlight Events. Brittany is phenomenal at what she does and truly made sure that I did not have a worry in the world on my wedding day.

Photography

JP Mullowney Photography. If you ever are considering Jim for your wedding photography, seriously, look no further. He was so fun and personable and a true professional (And my family loved him!)

Flowers

All Events. Kim is wonderful to work with and made sure my flowers were exactly how I wanted.

Hair

Heather and Krista from Identity Salon. These girls were a ball and made the morning of the wedding so fun. All the girls looked beautiful.

Makeup

Nicole Davis Makeup Artistry. Nicole was amazing. She made us all look beautiful and was so sweet and easy going to work with.

Reception Venue

The CLB/Derek White. I cannot rave enough about Derek and the CLB. They were SO accommodating and easy to get along with, and we still get compliments on the food!

DJ

The MusicMen. Roy was great to work with. We were pretty particular with our music requests and he made sure we were happy, and that our dance floor was full all through the night.

Bride’s Favorite Moment

There are too many to choose, but the highlights were definitely walking down the isle with my dad, and mine and Ryan's first dance (Sang to us by Steve Maloney, so great)

Groom’s Favorite Moment

Saying our vows in a room full of all of our closest friends and family.

Advice to couples planning their weddings

Keep in mind what's important and don't sweat the small stuff. At the end of the day what matters is marrying your best friend and celebrating with your family and friends. Also, stay in budget!
